How To Get Qualified As A Firewalk Instructor
Firewalk Instructor Training cannot be delivered online – it’s REALLY important to get lots of practice at all aspects of working with the fire while your teacher is there with you to guide and support you.
There’s lots of Firewalk specific ways of working with the fire you need to learn, including building, lighting, and tenderly tending the fire, before you move onto preparing the coals for your walkers, as well as preparing the firewalkers themselves. It takes guidance and practice to learn and build confidence within these skillsets, that’s why Wild Soul Firewalk Instructor Training is 5 nights long and we firewalk every day at training.
You don’t need to have Firewalked before to become qualified as an Instructor – you’ll find lots more information about this in my recent blog post.
Becoming An Accredited Firewalk Instructor
It’s important that your training won’t just give you an exciting ‘retreat style experience’ but that it will also leave you qualified, confident, and accredited to go on and lead your own Firewalks.
Wild Soul Firewalk Instructor Training is accredited by the International Practitioners of Holistic Medicine (IPHM) giving you confidence in the high standards of our trainings, as well as opening the doors for you to gain automatic practitioner level accreditation yourself.
There’s A lot To Learn When Qualifying As A Firewalk Instructor
Holding your first firewalk can feel scary, and there’s a lot to learn and then remember to make sure you deliver your firewalks safely and well.
It’s really important that your training also comes with an online component that supports your learning and is there to refer back to when you need it – all our qualifying students here at the Wild Soul Tribe gain access to this on certification.
Ongoing Support For After You Qualify As A Firewalk Instructor Is Important Too
Firewalk instructors are a rare breed – when you’re thinking about qualify as an instructor it’s a good idea to think about how and where you’ll gain ongoing support from people who actually know what they’re talking about!
I make this as easy as possible for my students. You’ll have 1-to-1 access to me for online mentoring through your first firewalk enabling you to ask any questions in the days and weeks running up to the event, and we also have a vibrant and active alumni group offering community, support, and all kinds of fiery goodness. I love seeing people from all over the world sharing their pictures and their news from their firewalks.
